Abstract: This study analyses the exploratory results of the application of an observation instrument that identifies the main actions and interventions by professionals who work in parental support programmes in early childhood education. The instrument in checklist format presents a total of 54 items, which has been applied to professionals in a parental support programme with vulnerable families. The applied instrument can be used for self-evaluation, for external evaluation or to provide training to novice professionals.

Abstract: This paper analyzes and examines federal educational programs by reviewing a significant time period in American history, 1980-2021. Secondary data are used to show national educational fiscal and public policy, high school graduation rates, high school dropout rates and college graduation rates within the United States to demonstrate literacy initiatives and their influence on the overall quality of education in America.

Abstract: The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted all aspects of life and certainly education is no exception. Faculty and students had to adjust in ways not previously required. Teaching and learning had to be modified and delivered in a manner that could be effective and not cause total disruption in the learning process. Colleges across the nation were making adjustments and modifications to deliver quality education in a pandemic world. After the initial move to almost completely online education in the fall of 2020, the push to re-open schools was paramount. This study examines the effects of wearing masks as perceived by faculty and students, in an educational setting in a small state college in rural Nebraska.

Abstract: Although in Spain the attitude towards ethnic minorities has been changing, different sociological studies continue to produce data that allow us to say that Spanish society continues to be carried away by behaviors designated as racist. In fact, the object of study of this work has been focused on analyzing the legal framework applicable to the Gypsy Ethnic Minority that has been developing, both at the international, European, and national levels, which help to legitimize the processes of social intervention with this collective. Despite all the progress in this field, reality continues to show us that there is still much to be done, given the continuous violations to which some ethnic minorities are subjected, derived from the lack of political will of some governments that, even having signed and ratified the main international treaties and agreements, they forget to put into practice.
